Vaughan SC's Dylan Sacramento (13', 15', 77 pk) got a hat-trick as the hosts breezed through to a 9-0 win over visitors Ottawa South United.

Newly-signed Zachary Drake (7', 30') added a pair, while Lucas Puntillo (22'), Shiquan Lowe (35'), Jarek Whiteman (58'), and Massimo Mirabelli (71') supplemented the score line.

The match was all Vaughan from the start, as they pressured OSU and fired shots on target right away, keeping OSU's goalkeeper, Jared St. Thomas, very busy, forcing him to make eight saves this game.

The scoring fest started early when Sacramento's corner kick found Drake at the near post in the seventh minute. Drake neatly finished the right foot volley into the back of the net.

Vaughan would get another one when Devante Walker used his speed down the line and crossed a ball to find Sacramento, who redirected the ball on goal and into the net. Shortly after, Sacramento would get his second goal after combining with Puntillo and Austin Ricci.

Vaughan captain Whiteman played a clever through ball for Puntillo, as he was in on goal and calmly finished into the bottom right corner for his first goal of the season. Whiteman would record three assists in this game.

A clever back heel from Vaughan's Ricci would put Jarred Phillips through down the line, as his cross from the left side found Drake, who neatly finished on target.

Vaughan would make it 6-0 just before the half as Whiteman's free-kick was swung in and found the unmarked Lowe, his header perfectly directed on target. Lowe would get another chance like this moments later, but his header was cleared off the goal-line by an OSU defender.

As the second half rolled around, Whiteman would finally get a goal of his own as he neatly chipped the goalkeeper into the corner of the net.

Vaughan substitute Mirabelli recorded his first goal of the season after volleying the ball into the back of the net from Whiteman's cross.

Vaughan wrapped up the score when a handball by an OSU defender in the box gave the home team a penalty. Sacramento stepped up and neatly finished in the bottom right corner for the hat-trick and his sixth goal of the season.
