It was a wild, back-and-forth game in Windsor on Sunday afternoon as Windsor TFC and Toronto Skillz FC played to a 3-3 draw.

The home team controlled the first half and went into the break leading 2-0.

Windsor TFC’s Dimeo (29') made no mistake on a cross sent into the box and moments later a Windsor player was brought down in the box and the referee awarded a penalty. Pio (40') stepped up to the spot and sent it right down the middle to increase the lead.

Although Toronto Skillz FC only had 45 minutes to close the deficit, they came out strong in the second half to get themselves back in the game.

Toronto's substitute Kassimgereyev (63') put his team on the board with a great finish, but Windsor TFC responded quickly with a Dimeo goal (67').

Fighting a two-goal deficit, Toronto’s Khalili (79') scored a beautiful free kick to give his team life once again. They completed the comeback when Jashan (87') scored from a scramble in the box.

The back-and-forth match ended minutes later in a 3-3 tie, earning both teams a well-deserved point.

Toronto Skillz FC will have a break next week, but return to action at Birchmount Stadium, Toronto against Aurora FC on September 9 (5 p.m.).

Windsor will also be off next week and return September 9 (4 p.m.) at McHugh Stadium, Windsor to play FC London.
