Sigma FC stay on top of the table after Matchweek 13, defeating Pro Stars 2-0 at Victoria Park, Brampton.

The game kicked off with both sides playing in a 4-3-3 formation. Sigma slightly dominated possession and directed the majority of their attacks down the wings, while a few good openings saw Pro Stars break through the Sigma defence only on occasion.

Long balls proved to be plan A for Pro Stars to create chances, but most direct attacks were stopped by Sigma's back line of Reggie Laryea, Francis Kwashie, Dominic Samuels and Kyle Watson.

A scoreless first half was quickly overturned as Charlie Ntamark (53') opened the scoring after chipping a bouncing ball over the Pro Stars' goalkeeper, Aaron Peters, and into the top left corner of the net.

The second goal for Sigma arrived when David Velastegui (74') was brought down in the box after a hard challenge by Pro Stars' Jesse Okorie. Velastegui calmly placed his penalty kick in the bottom left corner of the net.

Pro Stars were able to create a few good chances late in the game but were unable to bring anything to fruition, resulting in the opposition walking away with the three points and their top-of-the-table standing intact.
