FC London closed out their regular season with an undefeated record after a second half 3-2 comeback win against West Ottawa.

First place FC London appeared to struggle in the first half as underdogs West Ottawa scored two goals while denying their opponents the chance to get on the scoreboard.

The first half ended 2-0 in favour of West Ottawa after a goal each from captain Josephine De Jesus-Shaw (20') and Crystal Schuder (45' + 1').

FC London came close a couple of times throughout the half, including a breakaway by Nicole Nielsen and a diving header from Jade Kovacevic, but West Ottawa keeper Imogen Bellinger was at the top of her game.

With their undefeated record in jeopardy, FC London came out hungry to score in the second half.

In the 75th minute, Kovacevic's first shot was denied but she grabbed her own rebound and knocked the ball right past Bellinger, putting FC London on the scoreboard. A goal from Ashley Campbell (83') minutes later evened the score.

One goal was not enough for captain Kovacevic who went on to score in extra time (90' + 3') to secure FC London's victory in their last regular season game.

FC London finish the regular season in first place with 34 points and an 11-0-1 record.

FC London will look to continue their undefeated streak as their impressive record earns them a playoff berth. They will next host at home in a semi final match, their opponent still to be determined.
