Darby FC men's team took on Windsor TFC at the Whitby Soccer Center, Whitby on the Saturday evening of Matchweek 11 and made it a perfect evening for the hosts after winning handily with 3-0 final score.

The first half started well with both teams pressuring the ball energetically and Darby slowly beginning to set the pace and dominate the game. Darby's Nashon Campbell (33') made a great run down the right side of the field and into the box just after the half-hour mark, taking a powerful shot into the far side of the net for the first goal of the game.

Darby didn't wait long to launch a great counter-attack to double the score, catching Windsor's defensive line off guard as Campbell (44') made another great run down the field with the support of two other players, before firing a one-time shot that deflected off the keepers' foot and into the back of the net. The nail was in the coffin with a 2-0 scoreline before halftime.

Windsor began to show the fatigue of a long journey in the second frame, and much of the half descended into bookings. Darby player Kashiff DeJonge was first to enter the book just after the restart for a deliberate hand ball. Only ten minutes later Darby had another yellow card, this time to Raphael Reynolds following a late tackle. Windsor's turn was in the 62nd minute, Mayorga seeing yellow following a reckless tackle.

The third and final goal of the game was Kashiff DeJonge's (73'), beating the last defender and scoring nicely into the bottom right corner. This is DeJonge's third goal of the season and a tidy final score of 3-0 for the home side over Windsor TFC.

Windsor TFC will play next on August 11 (4 p.m.) vs. North Mississauga SC at McHugh Stadium Field, Windsor.

Darby FC will play next on August 10 (8 p.m.) vs. Vaughan Azzurri at the Whitby Soccer Centre, Whitby.
