Aurora FC came from behind to defeat Pro Stars FC 2-1 and win their first game of the 2018 season following a great second half performance.

Pro Stars FC Uday Arora (8') opened the scoring for the visitors. Aurora FC goalie Ryan Collins made a good save on an initial shot, but Uday Arora was in the right spot at the right time and pounced on the rebound to put the visitors ahead 1-0.

Pro Stars FC would go on to dominate possession in the first half, but couldn't find the back of the net to go up by two.

Aurora FC made a critical substitution at half and brought on forward Matthew Mcgrouther, who injected much needed life into the home side's attack.

Nicholas Theodorakakis (54') equalized for the home side on corner kick that was headed on and found Theodorakakis in front of goal. Aurora FC kept the pressure on and eventually super sub Mcgrouther (64') was played in all alone and made no mistake beating the keeper and securing the victory for Aurora FC.

Pro Stars FC goalkeeper Aaron Peters made some big saves in the second half, giving his team a chance for a late comeback, but Aurora FC stayed organized defensively to see out any Pro Stars FC attack and eventually take all three points.

With there first win of the season, Aurora FC’s record improves to 1-4-2 leaving them tied for twelfth in the standings with five points.

The loss for Pro Stars FC leaves them tied for fourteenth in the standings at 1-5-1 with four points.
