Unionville-Milliken S.C's Valentina Khan spearheaded a dominating performance, as her side grabbed a commanding 4-0 win over West Ottawa S.C.
Unionville would come out fast, controlling play in the first half of the match. It only took nine minutes for UMSC's Natasha Klasios to open the scoring with a left-footed strike from 20 yards out to beat West Ottawa keeper Mollie Eriksson.
West Ottawa would struggle to break through Unionville’s backline, resulting in minimal opportunities in the attacking third.
At the 45th minute mark, Unionville doubled their lead, thanks to Khan's first goal of the afternoon. By halftime, UMSC had landed five shots on target, while West Ottawa managed to get one.
West Ottawa was looking to shake things up at the half, making two substitutions. Jade Da Costa-Pacheco came on for Samantha Dickson and America Lopez-Molina came on for Miranda Robinson.
In the first 10 minutes into the half, West Ottawa went into it with full force, pressuring Unionville keeper Marissa Zuchetto to make a great save in order to keep her clean sheet alive.

However, Khan's dominating performance would see her find the back of the net on two more occasions in the 54th and 64th minute to get her first hat trick of the season and seal the victory for the home side.
With this win, Unionville record improves to 2W-1L-1T. Meanwhile, the loss leaves West Ottawa winless with a record of 0W-4L-0T.
Unionville will visit the Azzurri Village Main on June 3 (3:45 p.m.) to take on Toronto Azzurri Blizzard in their next league match.
