Unionville Milliken SC defeated Windsor TFC by a score of 3-1 after scoring three unanswered goals in a span of ten minutes.

The first half of the game was evenly matched as both sides held possession in midfield, but did not find many opportunities on goal.

Both teams came out hard in the second half which saw a total of four goals.

Windsor TFC's Jamar Kelly (70') opened the scoring as he hit a laser first-time into the bottom right corner, beating Unionville's Birnstingl.

After conceding, the visitors pressed hard for the equalizer and were threatening the Windsor goal.

Unionville's Joseph Di Chiara (79') was all over the ball creating chances and finally tied the game when he finished a great cross into the open net.

Only minutes later, Unionville took the lead with Tre Crosby (81') finding the back of the net.

With Windsor pressing to tie the match, Unionville's substitute Hassan Abdulmumini (89') scored to secure the three points for his team.

In their first match in League1, a win in the first game of the regular season is a great start for Unionville as they jump into a five-way tie for first place in the league.

Unionville Milliken SC hit the road again for their next match, facing the reigning League1 champions - Oakville Blue Devils on Sunday May 6 (4 p.m.).

Windsor TFC will play at home once again on Sunday May 6 (2 p.m.), taking on Aurora FC.
