The Ottawa Fury showed their professionalism during a 6-1 dismantling of the League1 Ontario All-Star Selects in the annual Spring Friendly between the two organizations.

Competing in the second tier of North American soccer, the USL side got two goals from captain Carl Haworth (10', 20') to storm back into the contest after going one down.

League1 Ontario All-Stars started brightly, with Woodbridge defender Kyle Watson (5') drawing first blood for the hosts, neatly dispatching a header at back post after only minutes of play.

The Fury wasted no time getting back into the contest however, finding two goals from the sniper Haworth and two more before the half-time from Seoane (33') and Dos Santos (45').

In front of nearly 150 spectators at the Ontario Soccer Centre, the League1 Ontario All-Stars made wholesale changes to the team at half-time, bringing on Thomas, Rollocks, Melo, Cullen McNamara and George but it wasn't enough.

New Fury signing and former League1 Ontario Young Player of the Year and Golden Boot winner, Adonijah Reid (46'), cropped up on the League1 left flank to finish the fifth of the match, while the Fury's Salazar (77') made sure to make it an even six in the late going.

The annual Spring Friendly with the fully professional Ottawa Fury organization is an excellent podium for the League1 Ontario All-Stars to test their pre-season fitness against a team primed to enter their season.
