Goals from North Toronto Nitros' Nikolay Saveliev (31') and Jayden Doyle (78') were the difference as the visitors claimed a 2-1 victory over OSU Force in the final game of the season for both sides.

"I think we played fairly well," said North Toronto head coach, Hermann Kingue.

"We just came to play our final game of the season and of course our squad, just like the rest, has changed a lot since the start of the season. We brought some new young players and we just played our game, possession and from time to time counter-attack."

"It did work well in the first half, we scored one goal and had a chance to kill the game," he added.

"We made one change on the wing and it worked perfectly because he is the one that scored the winning goal."

Aidan Tuck (57') got the lone marker from OSU in a match that was as tight as the scoreline suggested.

"I thought we could get at least a point today, but the boys played well considering there were three or four new players involved," said OSU head coach, Traian Matheas. "I thought they did their best."

In the second half I told them they could go and get a goal, to play a little bit higher and to press if they recognized the moment to press," he said.

"We did that and got a goal but I think they had three or four players that were able to punish us with the ball and that got us on both goals in one v ones."

"This was the first year and so you spend much of that time looking around you at the quality, experience and strength of the teams. Going forward I think we will adjust accordingly."

OSU Force finish their season in sixth position in the east division, with 19 points and a record of 6 wins, 14 losses and one draw. The team was fifth for goals for (40), sixth for goals against (63) and sixth in goal difference (-23).

North Toronto Nitros finish their season in fourth position in the east division, with 36 points and a record of 11 wins, eight losses and three draws. The team was second for goals for (55), fourth for goals against (35) and fourth in goal difference (+20).
