Panthers' Nathaniel Marksman (36') and Johnson Luyiga (85') scored at either ends of a tight match between Sanjaxx Lions and North Mississauga Panthers on Matchweek 20, giving all three points to the visitors.

Sanjaxx had many of the game's best early chances, but could not convert their opportunities, whereas North Miss exhibited great composure in waiting for the right time to strike.

"We should have won this game in the first half. We got six chances and if you don't put away three of your six chances then it is going to come back and hurt you," said Sanjaxx assistant coach, Devon Porter.

"What North Miss does, they stay patient. They sit and wait and we were just chasing the ball all over the park."

"They were chasing the game in the second half. If you are still in the game, you don't need to chase. You just stay on the ball and pick your moments and that is what North Miss does. They picked the moments and they are the winner."

North Miss' team official Mladen Nugrincek said the win was down to some adjustments the team made tactically and in personnel leading into the a strong second half display.

"We made some adjustments in the second half," he concurred.

"We put in two new players and made some adjustments to the formation, which caused our better performance and play. We were more compact in the middle so we stopped that penetration and the long balls."

Sanjaxx Lions will next play Windsor TFC Stars on September 17 at University of Windsor, Windsor.

North Mississauga Panthers will next play FC London on September 16 at Hershey Centre, Mississauga.
