The Vaughan Soccer Club is very proud of their history concerning the girls and women’s team, as they have prioritized this section of the club from its very beginning. Over the years the club has had dedicated board member, technical trainers and coaches that made sure that the girl's program delivery was equal to the boy’s programs.
A number of Ontario Cup championships have been brought in over the last 10 - 12 years, and the club is proud of its role in promoting their girls and women's teams in every league they participate in.

"We used our resources within the club to form our Women’s League1 team," said Tony De Palma of the Vaughan Azzurri. "The team is a mixture of youth and experience players."
When asked about the Azzurri's goal in their inaugural League1 season, De Palma said that the club sought "to be a facilitator on and off the field, whereby we develop youth players and giving our senior players an option of professional meaningful soccer experience."
