The League1 Ontario Women's Premier Division will kick off on Friday, April 21 with 18 teams in action across the opening weekend.

First to take to the field are Darby and Tecumseh – separated by two points in the regular-season table last year – with title holders NDC Ontario beginning the defence of their crown against St Catharines Roma Wolves an hour later.

Last season's runners-up Alliance United open the new campaign against 2021 champions Woodbridge Strikers on the Saturday; the Strikers picked up a 1-0 victory from this fixture back in June.

Unionville Milliken and Vaughan Azzurri then conclude the opening weekend's action on Sunday evening, after Burlington and ProStars start their seasons at 3pm against North Toronto Nitros and North Mississauga respectively.

Pickering teams have been removed from the men’s and women’s Premier Division schedules for 2023 and the L1O board of directors will announce the plans for these two licenses in due course.
