In part 2 of League1 Ontario’s Webinar series, Canadian Premier League marketing head Roy Nasrallah spoke to L1O officials about the marketing strategy of the CPL’s first year.

From bringing CPL clubs to seven Canadian cities to pitching the game to fans, Nasrallah offered an insight into the league’s launch from a marketing standpoint.

“We want, as a league, to feed their obsession with football,” Nasrallah said. “Understanding players and fans help elevate the league.”

Nasrallah also took viewers behind the curtain with the CPL’s current marketing push, adding innovation as a key pillar.

“To be innovative, and to see something from a different perspective, is so important.”
