Darby recorded their second consecutive win of the season, beating North Mississauga 5-2  after goals from Arruda (24'), Twohey (36'), Hopkins (49'), Thorton (62') and Barton (69').

It was not all one-sided though as North Mississauga couldn't have had a better start to the match.

Tori Evans (5', 34') showed her quality with a brace and the first was a very well constructed goal that gave a deserved lead for the home side. North Miss moved the ball quickly through the thirds with a high tempo, switching play in the final third and finding Evans all alone at the back post.

After ten minutes, Darby started to develop their own momentum, pushing forward in numbers and contesting every first and second ball. Their first good chance came just before the 20th minute, when a good passing move opened up space for a finish but North Mississauga GK Cardorelli was up to the test.

Darby finally managed to level the score after Arruda smashed one into the net following a surging run into the box.

Evans would then put her side back into the lead after a lovely through ball into the box found her in a great position.

Darby equalized in quick succession thanks to a goal from Thohey before the half and Darby took over after the restart. Within the first five minutes, Darby's Hopkins put her side in front and Thorton gave her side a two goal cushion after some good build-up play.

North Mississauga were not playing like they were in the first half and Darby went on to score a fifth marker off the foot of Barton.

The result means Darby record their second win of the season while North Mississauga lose their sixth match from six to continue a poor run of early-season form.

Darby will next play OSU Force on June 16 (2 p.m.) at South Courtice Turf, Courtice.

North Mississauga will next play Aurora FC on June 15 (7 p.m.) at Stewart Burnett Park, Aurora.

After a very hard-fought game in Ottawa between Ottawa South United and Oakville Blue Devils the final score ended at 3-0 in favour of the visitors.

The game stayed pretty even for the first 20 minutes, when most of the play was a midfield battle in the middle third. There were a few early corners at each end but nothing dangerous.

After this period, however, Oakville began to take the majority of possession and Mahira Ali (20') had a nice shot from 20 yards out that hit the bottom left corner and went in just past keeper Gabrielle Emilien's fingers.

Oakville continued to dominate the rest of the first half, getting another goal after a rebound off the crossbar fell straight to the foot of Rachel Melhado (45').

Both teams entered the second half with high intensity, but Oakville got an insurance goal after a loose ball landed at Paige Culver's (61') foot.

OSU held the majority of possession in the final half-hour, never giving up on getting back into the contest, but could not find a way to crack the stubborn Blue Devils' defensive shape.

OSU will next play Darby FC on June 16 (2 p.m.) at South Courtice Turf, Courtice.

Oakville will next play FC London on June 16 (2 p.m.) at German Canadian Club, London.

Dero United and London FC played to a 1-1 draw after a free-flowing match between two strong sides, with both coaches left feeling like it was two dropped points.

There wasn't much to separate two sides that are ranked fourth and fifth in the standings, and for good reason. Dero United were first to strike in the game, capitalizing with a Chelsea Cheung (27') finish after a corner kick caused a scramble in front of the net.

FC London's Julia Benati (56') scored a great goal to tie the game, performing a turn and finish of the highest quality.

It was Dero United that came closest to doubling their lead with a header that hit the crossbar. Moments later Vital Kats broke through and was clear one v one with the keeper, but Emily Gillet should good patience and waited to pounce on the ball.

Finally, DeRo's Jade Abreo was able to get a great header that beat the keeper, but not the post.

In the second half the affair became heated with three cautions and one dismissal to DeRo's Jasmine Vilgrain, but solid play from both sides would only result in Benati's fantastic equalizer.

FC London will next play Oakville Blue Devils on June 16 (2 p.m.) at German Canadian Club, London.

DeRo United FC will next play Durham United FA on June 15 (4:30 p.m.) at L'Amoreaux, Toronto.

FC Oshawa drew Alliance United FC with a score of 1-1 on Matchweek 6.

Alliance started the game well, having a majority of the possession, and Vyfhuis (24') scored a stunning right-footed curling strike to give the visitors the lead.

The teams would go back-and-forth for the rest of the first half, with Alliance having a slight edge in terms of the quality of their scoring chances.

In the second half it was all FC Oshawa - applying constant pressure on Alliance and heavily out-shooting them with Oshawa’s eight shots to Alliance's four.

In the 75th, Oshawa striker Moser sent a thunderous striker into the crossbar and their quest for the team's first home goal continued.

It would arrive moments later as midfielder Makulova (77') provided a brilliant lob over the Alliance keeper.

FC Oshawa will next play Unionville Milliken SC on June 16 (1 p.m.) at L'Amoreaux, Toronto.

Alliance United FC will next play Hamilton United Elite on June 16 (6 p.m.) at Mount Joy, Markham.
