Saturday action in the men's division was full of hard-fought battles.

Aurora and North Mississauga shared the points in a 1-1 draw, as did Alliance United and Pro Stars FC after a goal-less but entertaining match-up.

Sigma FC managed to edge visitors OSU Force after yet another Tyriq Armstrong goal, his third this month.

North Mississauga tied Aurora FC 1-1 at Stewart Burnett Park after a hard fought match.

The match kicked off with high intensity as both teams created scoring opportunities in the opening minutes. In a moment of high tension Aurora found themselves a man down in the 20th minute of play.

North Mississauga didn’t successfully take advantage of having the extra man on the field as Aurora's Fillipe Vilela (29') soon found the back of the net after picking up a rebound off a header.

Aurora would go on to play to their goal advantage by attempting to slow down the tempo of the game. North Mississauga would respond by pressing high and by half-time they managed to unleash four shots with two on target.

In the second half both keepers had their fair shares of saves and it would be in the closing minutes that the Panthers would find their breakthrough goal. North Mississauga's Lee Victor Massunda (82') volleyed the ball into the back of the net for the equalizer.

For a final moments of drama, Aurora's Nuno Carvalho took a long range shot attempt that would clang off the crossbar in the 89th minute and North Mississauga's Jared Maloney made an excellent diving save to secure his side a point.

Aurora FC will next play Durham United FA on June 7 (8 p.m.) at Kinsmen Park Football Field, Pickering.

North Mississauga will next play Alliance United FC on June 6 (9 p.m.) at Centennial College, Toronto.

A Tyriq Armstrong (61') goal was all Sigma FC needed to take three points from a visiting OSU Force side on Saturday.

Armstrong's finish in the second half was his second goal in as many games, and his third overall in the season.

Armstrong and teammate Leaford Allen both share three goals apiece to start the 2019 campaign.

The beginning of the match saw the two teams start fairly even, sharing possession and moving the ball in hopes of finding gaps in their opponent's lineup.

It took some time, however, for Sigma to gain momentum in their attacking efforts.

OSU had a couple chances to get the first goal, but had troubles unlocking the compact Sigma back-line.

A key player for the visitors was goalkeeper Horace Patient Sobze Zemo, who performed numerous highlight type saves to keep his team in the match.

The final ten minutes saw OSU start to push forward, with their closest chance to even up the score coming in the 80th minute off a shot from the top of the box that just skipped past the right post.

Sigma FC will next play Windsor TFC on June 7 (8 p.m.) at University of Windsor Stadium, Windsor.

OSU Force will next play Oakville Blue Devils on June 8 (5 p.m.) at Quinn's Point, Ottawa.

Still undefeated and yet to be scored on after five consecutive matches to start the 2019 season, Alliance United FC kept a clean sheet in Matchweek 5 but saw their perfect record ended as they were held to a goalless draw away to Pro Stars FC.

Alliance United had the better of the early play, but the hosts grew into the game as the time wore on.

Both teams had excellent scoring chances in the first half but could not find a breakthrough.

Alliance United came close three times: on 13 minutes, Aleksa Markovic's shot from inside the box skimmed the bar after taking a deflection; Milan Beader had two big opportunities to give the lead to his side - first, in the 26th minute on a one-on-one situation with Pro Stars GK Campanico his effort went an agonizing inch wide and, second, a strike from point-blank range that was denied by the brave keeper.

The best chance from the host in the first forty-five minute was created in the 28th minute by Uday Arora, who saw his shot from inside the box palmed away by Alliance keeper Praveen Ahilan.

In the second half, both teams tried to find the go-ahead goal, but the keepers put in stellar performances between the posts to keep the score sheet clean.

Anthony Sousa had the best opportunity to score for Alliance United on 71 minutes, but his low finish in an almost one-on-one situation went wide. On the other hand, Pro Stars could have found the net at the 77th minute, but a Sebastian Lopez strike from the edge of the box was saved by Alliance keeper Ahilan.

Pro Stars FC will next play Darby FC on June 8 (7 p.m) at Victoria Park, Brampton.

Alliance United FC will next play North Mississauga SC on June 6 (9:00 p.m) at Centennial College, Toronto.

Daniel Wlodek (85') lifted Windsor TFC to their first win of the season in a late 1-0 victory over Toronto Skillz at Birchmount Stadium on Saturday.

The substitute entered the game 20 minutes before he drove down the right to score. Toronto Skillz goalkeeper Stefan Dusciuc slid forward to try to stop the shot, but Wlodek placed it into the top corner for the lone goal of the game.

With some unlucky and woeful finishing from Skillz, Windsor held on for the victory to earn three points.

Windsor nabbed the first chance of the game after goalkeeper Kyle Vizirakis torpedoed a drop kick downfield to a full-speed Nathaniel Clemmings. He stayed onside and controlled the ball to take a shot, but Dusciuc came off his line to make the key save.

Toronto Skillz controlled the pace for most of the game with careful build-up play down the sides. In the middle of the first half, Michael Jahshan fizzed a cross in from the left with nobody on the other end to finish the chance. His subsequent shot eight minutes later rang off the crossbar, and then he went close again before it was saved on the goal line as the opening period came to a close.

Skillz used the right wing to create most of their chances in the second half. Wadohi Fadul combined with Raham Seqiq to fire some crosses into the box. Tajmir Ashraq found himself at the end of each chance, but his three shots were off the mark as they went wide.

After Wlodek's goal, Skillz pushed for a late equalizer, but they were unable to get anything on target in the second half despite having the lion's share of possession.

Windsor took a late trip home on the 401 West content with a first win, while Skillz remain winless to start the second month of play.

Windsor TFC will next play Sigma FC on June 7 (8 p.m.) at the University of Windsor Stadium, Windsor.

Toronto Skillz will next play Unionville Milliken SC on June 8 (8 p.m.) at Mount Joy, Markham.
