FC London put three goals past hosts OSU Force to grab their second win of the 2019 season.
Tomas Alvarez (18’) opened the scoring by putting a rebound let off by the keeper into the back of the net.
Being down a goal early on, OSU began to put the pressure on FCL getting more shots on goal and opportunities to score.
Before the ref could signal halftime, London doubled their lead thanks to Connor Wilson (45’), whose shot on goal found the bottom left corner.
As the second half began OSU came out strong with two shots hitting the post.
With fresh legs on the field, Ottawa continued to look for a goal but just couldn’t find the back of the net.
The final 20 minutes of play witnessed OSU looking for reinforcements to grab a late goal, while London was looking for fresh legs to keep their clean sheet.

Right after the goal, a thunderstorm began and the game was delayed and eventually called making the final score 3-0 for FC London.
