Hassani Kamara (24'), Jeremy Nand (41'), Anhr El Eidani (85') and Antonio Guimmara (90') scored to give Toronto Skillz a 4-1 away victory over Aurora FC on Matchweek 24.

"I think the young players did well today," said Toronto Skillz technical director, Jake Doodnath. "We had some very young ones on the bench today and they came in and did a very good job. Normally we give up goals after the break and today we really held it together. I thought it was a very good performance and something to build on."

"It was a long season and we're just looking to improve each year," he added.

"We had some improvement this season and we are just looking forward to the next.

Ruben Dos Santos (62') scored the lone goal for Aurora, capping the team's season off with a positive moment.

"I take away a lot from this season," said Aurora FC head coach, Derek O'Keeffe.

"I took on the job and thought we could do better. We lost five or six good players at the start of the season, and then we were trying to build a team all year long. We didn't manage to replace those players but the squad I did have came out and gave me everything they had. I think we just lacked that bit of quality and you could see tonight how individual errors can cost games and they cost us all season."

"However, it was brilliant from the young players on both teams today," he added.

"The ones in our team at least are at every training session and they want to be out here and that is what we are trying to promote. We want to promote the younger players because that is what League1 is about in my opinion."

"If you're 25, it is going to be very hard to move on and become a full-time professional footballer, but if you are sixteen or seventeen League1 is a good showcase of getting to that level of being a professional I think."

Aurora FC finish their season in eighth position in the west division, with nine points and a record of two wins, 17 losses and three draws. The team was eighth for goals for (23), eighth for goals against (72) and eighth in goal difference (-49).

Toronto Skillz finish their season in seventh position in the west division, with twelve points and a record of four wins, 18 losses and no draws. The team was seventh for goals for (26), seventh for goals against (69) and seventh in goal difference (-43).
