Windsor TFC and Pro Stars FC battled the elements at University of Windsor Alumni Field on Saturday of Matchweek Four, with Windsor finally taking the result with an emphatic 4-0 win.

"I just let them know if the wind is against us to tighten up in the back and stay close together," said Pro Stars coach Stiven Mikhail.

"They were going to have most of the ball and shoot as much as they could so we tried to take away the best angles."

"It was a hard day weather-wise for both teams, it was windy, rainy, just not pretty," added Windsor head coach, Zibby Piatkiewicz.

"It was hard to control the ball so both teams struggled for the first half an hour, but after that the weather changed and everyone began to move the ball well. In the end, it wasn't a bad game."

Bryce Phillips (24'), Stephen Ademolu (54'), Celso Carapau (63') and Martin Nyul (74') did the scoring for the Windsor side, while the clean sheet was earned by Kyle Vizirakis. The second half rout was due mainly to a change of tactics by the home side.

"What we decided to do was put more pressure on their back four and it looked like it worked," revealed Piatkiewicz.

"As we added the pressure, they began to struggle a little bit so we took advantage of that and scored three."

Windsor TFC will next play Sigma FC on Sunday May 28 at University of Windsor, Windsor.

Pro Stars will next play FC London on Friday May 26 at Terry Fox Stadium, Brampton.
