Jacob Evans (58') and Erick Olazabel (70') snapped Pro Stars' winless streak with two second half goals cancelling out a Toronto Skillz opener after a 2-1 final.

Playing away at Terry Fox Stadium, Brampton, Toronto Skillz was also looking to break their winless streak and got off to a good start after an an early Michael Jahshan (35') strike.

"I'm at a loss for words right now," said Toronto Skillz head coach, Leslie "Tiger" Fitzpatrick. "You could see in the first half we came out with the energy, enthusiasm, and a tactical game-plan that seemed to be working fine."

"We tried to be mentally ready for the second half, not to give away the three points, at the very minimum to preserve the lead. Again, we conceded on one set piece and then we had to fight from behind after an outstanding individual effort from Pro Stars."

"I think right now we just don't have the mentality for that type of fight, that a winning mentality. It's a long season ahead, and this is a young team, and we are looking to take the positives and improve each game."

Skillz couldn't hold the lead in the second half, and Pro Stars head coach Omar Jbaihi felt his team was good value for the result.

"I think [a result] has been coming for a while," said Jbaihi. "The performances have been getting better, and we just needed something to go our way."

"I thought we were the better team in the first half, and I thought we had a defensive lapse for the first goal. Both guys going for the same ball and nobody on the cover. In the first half I thought we dominated, we must have had 65-70% possession. I thought we deserved to win."

Toronto Skillz plays again on June 29 (7 p.m.) at Hershey Centre, Mississauga against North Mississauga Panthers.

Pro Stars plays Master's FA Saints on July 2 (9 p.m.) at L'Amoreaux, Scarborough.
